Glenda Cloud once said, “Change is inevitable; growth is intentional.”

The power of choice and living in the present moment is a reality for each of us regardless of our past circumstances.  My method of therapy relies heavily on not only my 12 years of experience, but also on the variety of therapeutic methods learned over many years in school.  I use a variety of therapeutic practices including cognitive behavioral, Rogerian, existential, strength based and positive psychology to name a few.  With these tools, the process of healing and change can begin.  All aspects of our work together are tailored to meet your individual needs.I have over 12 years experience in working with a myriad of clients from adolescents, adults, older adults, individuals, couples and families.

My Bachelor of Art degree is in the field of Psychology with a concentration in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  My Masters degree is in Counseling Psychology from City University of Seattle.  I am also adjunct faculty and teach continuing education classes to my peers.  I will be a Licensed Supervisor in the Fall of 2017, which allows me to provide supervision to my colleagues who are becoming Licensed Mental Health Counselors in WA state.

I provide counseling to individuals, couples, families and older adults. Some of the treatment areas I specialize in include but, are not limited to:

  • Therapy for Depression and Anxiety
  • Couples Counseling
  • Family Consultations/Parenting Support
  • PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
  • Grief Counseling
  • Stress Management
